As you begin to age, your skin begins to loosen and sag. The neck muscles become weak and unwanted fat deposits make your neck appear larger as our skin sags. A neck lift, also known as platysmaplasty, is a procedure to eliminate the sagging skin from your neck and tighten the skin that remains, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
A neck lift is designed to remove excess, sagging skin under the jaw line and on the neck. In some cases, the platysma muscle of the neck is adjusted and tightened if it has begun to separate and sag. Good candidates for a neck lift are patients with a fleshy neck, jowls (fatty deposits at the jaw line), a loose platysma, or a turkey waddle.

Brow lifts can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad or tired. Using either traditional or minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, the muscles above the eyes are altered to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a more youthful appearance. The procedure is often combined with other operations such as blepharoplasty and facelifts to improve the look of the eyes and other areas of the face.

Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in an office with local anesthesia in as little as 45 minutes. Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift or BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crow's feet or dark circles under the eyes.

Ear surgery can be performed for a variety of reasons. Some children are born with protruding ears or ears that lack normal definition. Many adults have been unhappy with the appearance of their ears for much of their lives. This can be a source of social discomfort to both children and adults.
Otoplasty can often correct this problem. This surgery can be performed after the age of four or five, when the ear has reached near adult size. This surgery can be performed in the office or a surgery center on an outpatient basis.

Lip enhancement, also known as lip augmentation, is a procedure using a variety of surgical and non-surgical techniques to enhance the appearance of the upper and lower lips. Materials used to enhance the lips can be either temporary or permanent. These materials include Restylane®, Alloderm™, and fat transfer. Nearly all of these choices result in lip enhancement with an overall soft, natural feeling.
Temporary treatments take minutes to perform and can be done in an office visit. Injectables such as Restylane® can be done with a topical anesthesia with or without a nerve block. Permanent enhancement uses materials that are of medical-grade quality and have a proven safety record. Fat transfer can often provide permanent results when used for lip enhancement. This procedure also uses a nerve block with local anesthesia and only involves the use of tiny nicks in the skin to both harvest the fat and place it within the lip.
Swelling and bruising are rare after Restylane® treatment, but may be more pronounced following permanent enhancement. These side effects may last for three to seven days.

Fat injection involves injecting your own fat into areas of your face that either are flattened from aging or have developed deep creases and fold. It can also be used to create fuller, more youthful lips. With this procedure, since natural tissue is used, you will enjoy long-lasting and, in some cases, permanent results.
Autologous fat injections or fat transfer are terms used to define injectable soft-tissue augmentation using your own fat. Your fat can be extracted (harvested) and reinjected into your lips, facial creases or hands.
There is no risk of allergy and your body won't reject the graft. Typically, the fat is extracted from the abdomen, buttocks or thighs through minor liposuction. Fat transfer requires local anesthesia and may require a few weeks for swelling and bruising to diminish if large quantities of fat and areas are injected.
If smaller areas are injected, local swelling may diminish within a week. Some of the fat injected will be reabsorbed over time, so you may need more than one treatment to truly achieve and maintain the fullness you desire.
