Restylane®

Sculptra is composed of poly-L-lactic acid which is a biodegradable, bioabsorbable synthetic polymer that has been shown to give log-lasting correction of facial lipoatrophy.  It has been FDA approved for the use as an injectable filler to correct lipostrophy.  Its use is intended for the restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy).  Sculptra provides an increase in the skin thickness of the areas where volume (fat) has been lost.  This product helps restore fullness to the face for a more natural appearance.
