Our Practice

Dr. Noone has devoted his entire career to providing high level plastic surgery care in an established, stable practice on the Philadelphia Main Line.

Dr. Noone desires to make your experience as pleasant and efficient as possible, whether you have been a patient in the past or are consulting with us for the first time. Dr. Hoffman has been an associate in the practice since 2009. We are very excited with the addition of Dr. Hoffman to our office. He has been trained in the latest procedures and the newest technologies.

Our staff is committed to the comfort and satisfaction of our patients.

We welcome you to schedule a plastic surgery consultation by calling 610-527-4833.

This page is intended to provide information for you about our office procedures and about our availability to provide services for you. Prior to your visit, we request that you read this review of the consultation process.

The Consultation

Dr. Noone's office hours are Monday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

Dr. Hoffman's office hours are Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Feel free to call the office if you need additional flexibility in appointment slots.

After you have completed all necessary paperwork at the reception desk, you will be shown a video which generally covers your area(s) of concern. The doctor will then evaluate you, review the procedure(s) available to you, and if indicated develop a plan for surgery. If your appointment is for surgery concerning the face we request that you do not wear any makeup to the office, or plan to allow enough time to remove it when you arrive, prior to your appointment time.

We also ask that you refrain from bringing cell phones or small children with you into the examining room as these may interfere with providing you a thorough and complete evaluation. The final part of your appointment will include photography and meeting with a patient coordinator to discuss scheduling and financial arrangements. We strive to make every consultation as personalized and informative as possible. Please be informed, however, that this initial visit may take up to two hours.

It is often helpful to bring a list of any questions you may have. After your appointment, if you should have any additional questions or concerns, you are welcome to return without charge for a rediscussion appointment to review your initial consultation. Feel free to contact our office staff with any questions after your evaluation.

Our staff is committed to the comfort and satisfaction of our patients.

Office Availability

The office staff will be available to you Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Should you need emergency assistance after 5:00 PM or on weekends, the doctor on call can be reached through our answering service by calling our office number (610) 527-4833. If Dr. Noone or Dr. Hoffman are away or unavailable, they will be "signed out" to another board certified plastic surgeon in our emergency call group.

Insurance & Billing Information

Office Visits

We make every effort to keep down the cost of your medical care; therefore, we expect payment at the time of your office visit. We will file claims with your insurance carrier on your behalf.

Aesthetic Surgery

Surgery of a cosmetic (aesthetic) nature is not covered by Medicare or private insurance carriers. It is customary that fees for cosmetic surgery must be paid two weeks before the scheduled procedure. Your office consultation fee will be deducted from your surgical fee.

The office is pleased to announce that CareCredit is now available to be used for cosmetic surgery.

Office Surgery

An insurance claim will be filled out for you for office surgery and mailed to your carrier. A bill for the surgical fee balance will be sent to you from the office, after we receive payment from your insurance company. If you have Traditional Blue Shield, you will receive billing instructions in the mail when we submit your claim to that carrier.

Insurance

We do not participate with Traditional Blue Shield or Private Insurance Carriers. However, we will process all surgery claims for you. Payment for major surgery will follow the same procedure as outlined above under "office surgery". Dr. Noone considers his surgical fees to be fair and reasonable, and consistent with his training, experience and certification. The fees are not set by the insurance companies which have privately developed "usual and customary" fee schedules.

  • Medicare
We are participants in the Medicare program and we will accept Medicare payment, plus co-insurance, as payment in full. You are responsible for your deductible every year.
  • HMO or PPO Programs
We participate with Aetna Health Plans, which include Managed Care, HMO, PPO, Select and Open Access, Keystone East/NJ, First, Personal Choice, Blue Choice (GPPPN), AmeriHealth, Preferred Care, Intergroup, ICHP/AmeriHealth Administrators (formerly called Blair Mill Associates).

If you have one of the following plans, you must present a referral which you must obtain from your Primary Care Physician. We will be unable to proceed with our office visit without it.

  1. Aetna - Select Choice
  2. Aetna - Managed Care/HMO
  3. Blue Choice
  4. Keystone East/NJ; First; Keystone 65

Dr. Noone realizes that medical insurance issues can be difficult and complicated for many patients. Our office staff will be pleased to explain any questions you may have and will assist you with predetermination of coverage and claim submission.
